In 1847, above a coaching Inn off piccadilly circus, Wildsmith started making Household Cavalry boots. As our reputation grew we started producing ready to wear boots for private clients. It started with the 4 eyelet Chukka - Model 12, then followed by the iconic Chelsea boot, model 170. Our connection to the fashionable circles of London have always kept us at the front of design and innovation. All our boots have been updated for a modern look and feel but still retain that timeless quality of great design.
